A: If you have storage boxes that won’t fit under your bed, then bed risers are an excellent solution. To determine the best risers, 1. measure the bottom of the bed legs to determine the top pocket size of the risers. Then, push the storage boxes next to the bed and 2. measure the distance needed to raise the bed. This is the needed lift height for the risers. That’s it! Find those risers here at Furniture Risers. This video may help too.
If under-the-bed storage isn’t an issue, but the bed is too low for sleeping. 1. measure for the correct top pocket size as stated above. Then, 2. stand next to the bed and measure the distance from the top of the mattress up to your buttocks. This is the needed lift height for the risers. With the new risers installed, the top of the mattress will then be at the same level as your buttocks which is optimal for getting into and out of bed.
